These items can be used to decorate a home, they make wonderful gifts, or simply bring pleasure to ones own sense of creativity. By "Painting With Rosie" you will grow in your appreciation of the living things around you. Your perception of flower colors, for example will be enhanced immensely. In Decorative Art, designs are used which are transferred onto the painting surface. This surface can be wood, metal, fabric, plastic, just about anything, even painted walls or wallpaper. When I would go to Craft Shows, I was so inspired with some of the painted pieces I would see. So, Craft Shows became something I wanted to do -- a place where I could share my paintings with those who enjoyed them, whether it is to simply look things over or to purchase these items for there own enjoyment. Now, I derive a great deal of pleasure in creating my own designs and sharing them with magazines who wish to publish them, creating pattern packets for painters who wish to paint the designs, or students who wish to take lessons from me. After studying and painting for almost l0 years, it has changed my life a great deal by giving me another outlet for my creativity and allowing me the opportunity to share the gift God has given me. I get a great deal of pleasure in helping my student to find their gift as well, and you can find yours. My husband produces the wonderful woodwork surfaces that I paint on, and in the years that have ensued, he has become very skilled in his woodworking. Together, I have no doubt we have created a good team. Wood pieces are available through us for the painting packets I have produced and also for any which you might have a need.
