I was mad about the ugly, trashy argument that it started on my cartoon thread, which I am sure you did not intend to cause by your misplaced, but well-intended correction of my cartoon caption. I reiterate that "less" is also an adverb that can, and is used to indicate a negative, as per most any English text, dictionary, and thesaurus. Thus, my caption is perfectly linguistically correct, not to mention being the common usage. Irregargless, I hereby publicly retract my e-type mail to you, and humbly beseech your better nature to forgive and forget its contents -- whether or whether not you agree with my stated position of the captioned phrase in question. In addition, I would like to apologize for any implicit reference to you I made in later reposts, of being terminally menstrual. That was a discourteous remark that I feel almost as much remorse about as the e-comm I sent you....... Although I may let that descrip- tion stand for others, to which it may more aptly apply. Your friend, Jonathon R. Oglesbee oglesbee@ mail.fullnet.net
