After going into DejaNews, I now remember seeing this. The animation used to be at http://cantua.canterbury.ac.nz/~mpt26/art/ascii/pics/boomerang.htm but Matthew has removed all his pics from his website. I would think that Matthew would not be upset if you put it on your website under the heading "animation by another person" and clearly stated that he had done it. In fact, I might do that...
