Here is the chain of events as I see it : Pete Casso makes some cartoons (steins) Colin pays him a compliment by saying his "stein" sub genre is second only to the "silly cows". Pete Casso takes offence at this compliment and says so. Colin explains that the "silly cows" is the description which he remembers of the "cow" pictures. Others back him up. Pete Casso sees an ideal opportunity to be obnoxious and proceeds to create a load of very childish and unfunny cartoons of everyone who tried to point out that Colin was paying him a compliment in the first place. Typical behaviour of a child who knows he is in the wrong but does not want to admit it. __________________________ ,( ) (Hmm! looks like I was wrong!\ .PC / (I know, I'll take the mickey)_____________ ( -) (out of other people so no-one will notice!) You, whose great stein cartoons do overshadow anything created by Llizard, Joan, Veronica and everyone else. Such mastery of wit and the power to put it down in ASCII characters comes but rarely. Oh how we laugh at your inane pictures of *chortle* Miss Longlegstein, and *guffaw*, MissWellendowedstein and do humbly beg for more of your stein awards for our meagre offerings. Now, read that and tell me that it does not sound extremely childish. I personally do not find the cartoons funny, but I realise that others do, and put up with them without mentioning them. The first time I saw them, I may have thought it was clever to make recognisable pictures out of so few characters but my liking for them quickly started to wear a little thin when I found out what an obnoxious person Pete Casso really is. I would advise anyone who thinks of paying Pete Casso a compliment to think long and hard about it and get used to being called names and being ridiculed in a public forum before they do so. I fully expect to see an extremely humorous picture portraying me as an "asciigangstein" that has not graduated to being a "sillycowstein" form Pete Casso very soon. Of course everyone knows what Pete Casso's pics are supposed to show because he cleverly tells you in the name. ie Miss Longleggedstein Frogstein BirdStein and here is : CowStein : , , -- oo PigStein : __ "..) )@ oo" " Monkeystein : {oo} (_ - /) '( ) " " Snailstein : "\@ Of course none look like what they portray but the name makes you think they do. I want no credit for them, I don't even want to hear about them. The cow is mine but it may look exactly like one of the "silly cows". I am sorry for this and take no credit for it. I just did it to illustrate a point. The @ signs were not created by me and nor were any other of the ASCII character signs. However the putting them together into a giant frogstein was my own doing although I copied the smaller frogstein to do it. I hope I have included enough information in there to keep anybody whose pictures I have used happy. I am sorry if I have inadvertantly used any of the 'steins that Pete Casso has created or will create in the future, in this post. I apologise and promise never to do it again. --------------------------------------------- Sorry for wasting bandwidth with this incredibly long (for me) and largely flamish post. I just could not sit back and do nothing anymore.
