I recently saw hundreds of flamingoes in the south of France. There were
even more mosquitoes, but that's another story.) Very few of the
flamingoes looked like your flamingo, Joan. They were all of them busy
foraging for food and looked more like:

The only thing that appeared to be moving was the legs, stirring up the
shallow waters for little shellfish and causing even more mosquitoes to
fly (a seemingly impossible task with the sky already black with the
monsters)
