The command tells mIRC (not IRC) to grab the file from the disk, read it line by
line and send it to the IRC (not mIRC) server keeping the delay specified by the
number (or 1000 by default), making sure that slashes etc are maintained.

I said 'mIRC' because:
1. That was the program that the question was about...
    "Duh!  Need info on putting ascii art into ***mIRC*** - again."
2. I was trying to communicate the fact that the command I gave was for mIRC and
may not work in other IRC clients.

I understand fully the difference between IRC and mIRC (and pIRCh, and internaut
chat etc. for that matter)... hell I have to explain this to me friends all the
time... they ask 'Will you be going on mIRC this weekend?' (DUH!) and I correct
them every time... some people never learn.

You can find an asciiart channel on IRC (not mIRC) on:
