No, I think Veronica's perfectly right. I doubt that he'll get many artists to spend their time uploading their pictures. What for? There are a lot of collections already, eg the huge _catagorical_ collection by Paul Norgaard http://www.duc.auburn.edu/~norgapd/ And I simply don't like the word 'database'. I'd prefer a gallery anytime. From my experience I can say that via Allan Mullan's link list http://www.geocities.com/SoHo/2695/links.htm you can find almost any piece of art easily - if you care. Andreas P.S. Sometimes I believe that alt.asc-art is seen as a social service for people in need of a picture. It's not. And some people seem to believe that the artists are longing for better promotion of their pictures. I don't think so. _ . _ _ ssh! .A.A- |_| |_| ' jO .U ` | |. | | //\ u_ (( +__u| ) Ascii for Babies `\ \___/ http://www.stud.uni-hannover.de/~freise/ a:f / / o~o Alt.Ascii-Art FAQ : http://www.stud.uni-hannover.de/~freise/ascii/faq.html
