If you have DOS 5 or 6, and you have QBasic installed correctly, just run
QBasic.EXE, Press Enter to see the Survival Guide, go to Contents > ASCII
Character Codes and there is the list of DOS characters... just only use the
ones from 32 > 126 and you should be fine. :o)

Or, you could of course use the proggy Colin Posted!!!!

For Win95 users, see /OTHER/OLDMSDOS/ directory on your Win95 CD for Qbasic... I
can`t speak for Win98 (yet <g>)
